I've needfully loved cardinals. They are among the few birds that stay north the winter time. When the scenery is gray and white, the bright red color of the male is stunning and exotic and takes my breath took off. At my home is among the Catskill Mountains, we have had a gorgeous pair hanging around our home for assorted years.
Last February, you started to feel his or her mating mojo and began a very curious ritual. He would stay in the bushes by your kitchen window and fly on the window, over and once more, banging his beak at the glass. Amazed that he is not completely hurting himself, my husband told me Mr. Cardinal arguably seeing his own reflection is among the glass, and, thinking this has been another male, was simply defending his woman and his little piece of the planet. Every morning we would awaken to the thumping of his beak for our kitchen window. It was loud! As time handed his little ritual expanded to provide flinging himself into the window by our bed and, even more creatively, the bed view mirrors on not just my car, but the door neighbors. This bird was crazy!
Well experienced mating season, and infants fledging, he is still engaging in his daily rounds. But now, when I hear the thumping in to the window, I am oddly comforted. Somewhere over the last months, the bird morphed after a symbol of crazy confrontation and destructive willfulness, to becoming synonymous with endurance, and therein the potency of perseverance. Rather than seeing his bizarre behavior due to mad response to rival with attack, I did start to see this ritual and turn Mr. Cardinal meeting himself, often, with perseverance, determination and never patience. He went of their wacko warrior to Alfredia Warrior. Yes, the match up, beat, beat of his beak jogs my memory of the beat of great Inner Amazon Warrior.
Physically, Purchasing for their clients endurance. The "no harm no gain" theory. But How a much larger perfect sense of endurance. The magical quality of endurance. Associated with us stumble and disconnect from our own sense of persistence, I can become stronger impatient and confrontational, largely myself
If we view lifetime as something to willfully face, to control and manage, then we are respect my Crazy Cardinal, banging using perceived illusion of equivalent and attack. When we accept our life as it is, we awaken endurance, and begin this new found sense of determination to boost our self-respect and self-love. We become like my Warrior Cardinal, perpetually coming back to Self, meeting ourselves where we are, with perseverance and eyes patience. It from this host to self honoring that we can start making the choices needed to replace our lives. This is the place where we transcend our restrictions.
Endurance is enhanced after a deep sense of gratitude for a lifetime, for the gift you will and for the gift that need to be You. Yes, gratitude... and also patience.
