I have invariably been a proponent of less than ideal scrapbooking. I mean, I totally love using new services and I'll admit to spending throughout the double digits for regardless of the scrapbooking pages. But I love save too and I like the creativity that can come from not having plenty of to spend on scrapping supplies. So what are there are numerous ways that you can keep your money in the bank and still make fantastic layouts? Here are a number of my suggestions to be "cheap" without looking like it:
1. ) Look around the house. You would be stunned what "scrapbooking" supplies you will discover. I have used many household supplies or packages including: paperclips, craft paint (not only do you need it to accent a webpage, but you can use it identically you use stamp ink), further along in years envelopes and used stamps (great for destination/travel pages), old/broken chunks (use as embellishments), shopping/clothing/market recording labels (you can paint prevented, dye, or cover them), tape up paper, gift ribbon, locks ribbons or rubber titles, game pieces, old graphs, book pages (as backgrounds), cereal/shoe boxes (for chipboard) and a lot more. Just be careful that these items are acid excused or at least if it is not, won't be touching many photos.
2. ) Go digital - or perhaps a little bit. Outlined sites out there who supply freebies every week or so. I have stated loading up on these free downloads. Although you use them to try and do digital scrapbooking layouts, but I take parts of them and print them off to fight my regular scrapbooking models. And the great things about these is that you may print them again and again for various pages. Check out http: //www. scrapgirls. org and http: //www. digitalfreebies. com for a couple freebies.
3. ) Consider a scrapbooking supply swap. Next occasion you want to special event to scrapbook, just tell everyone you will be having a "swap" table where people mounts supplies they don't create a savings fund more or don't choose. You could also make it a sale too if someone really sell something they have. The last time I did in this instance "swap" I ended forth going home with a range of papers and stickers in which didn't want.
Scrapbooking were not the cheapest hobby obtainable, but it needn't be expensive. I am sure top quality other ways that each individual will make it even more affordable. If you have any more ideas to create scrapbooking cheaper, let i know your great discoveries.
