Although save-the-dates are no longer absolutely necessary, these cards have increased in popularity with the rise of concentrate on weddings and modern guest lists spread across the country. Since they are an exceptionally modern concept, no real rules apply - a truth which sometimes causes confusion for brides when planning their wedding stationery. Who Could use them?

Although formal replies are no longer required, you can flow preliminary attendance estimates through word-of-mouth.
Trends & Ideas
These cards are definitely the first impression of your wedding reception festivities, so take advantage with your opportunity to build excitement amongst you and your guests. If you already the actual colors and/or theme with the wedding, now's your chance to be a sneak peak. Or try and also a favorite love poem and / or quote that symbolizes that great relationship. Here are some of my best ideas and trends:
o Use vibrant full color that will "pop" all over again guests open the cover.
o Incorporate graphics that contact the season and/or location of a typical event. If you are usually planning a fall wedding, look at including colorful leaves, or include seashells for a wedding at the beach.
