I feel a proponent of fairly scrapbooking. I mean, I totally love using services and I'll admit to spending towards the double digits for more common scrapbooking pages. But I love saving too and I like the creativity that come from not having plenty to spend on scrapbook supplies. So what are this is one way that you can keep your money in your pocket and still make broad layouts? Here are most of my suggestions to be "cheap" without appearing like it:
1. ) Look around the house. You would be stunned what "scrapbooking" supplies for sale. I have used many of the household supplies or may well including: paperclips, craft paint (not only do you require it to accent an article, but you can use it equally you use stamp ink), age - old envelopes and used imprints (great for destination/travel pages), old/broken artists (use as embellishments), shopping/clothing/market labels (you can paint for over, dye, or cover them), covering paper, gift ribbon, setback ribbons or rubber earrings, game pieces, old atlases, book pages (as backgrounds), cereal/shoe boxes (for chipboard) and even more. Just be careful the items are acid free or at least or, won't be touching all of your photos.
2. ) Go digital - or otherwise a little bit. Barbecue sites out there that give freebies every sometimes a week. I have stated loading standing on these free downloads. Cannot only you use them to try digital scrapbooking layouts, but I take features of them and print them off to defend myself against my regular scrapbooking drawings. And the great things about these is you can print them again and again various pages. Check out http: //www. scrapgirls. com and http: //www. digitalfreebies. com for a couple of freebies.
3. ) Have a scrapbooking supply swap. The very next time you want to get together to scrapbook, just tell everyone that you'll be having a "swap" table where people can allow supplies they don't use any more or don't require. You could also transmogrify it into a sale too if someone wishes sell something they reap. The last time I did doing this "swap" I ended up going home with a plethora of papers and stickers that other people didn't want.
Scrapbooking are generally not the cheapest hobby out, but it needn't are expensive. I am sure of many other ways that each individual mobile even more affordable. If you do any more ideas to scrapbooking cheaper, let me know your great progress.
